Bat Boy: The Musical
Story and book by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming
Music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe
Directed by Katherine Lewis with Musical Direction by Marilyn Anderson
This is not your typical romantic/tragic/musical/horror comedy, and it is not about Batman’s youth or baseball. It has won several awards and nearly unanimous rave reviews – “Instant classic!” New York Post; “A giggling cult hit!” The New Yorker.
Bat Boy: The Musical is written in the tradition of Sophocles, Sondheim and South Park, with hints of Mary Shelly, Tim Burton and Mel Brooks and dashes of Les Mis, Hee Haw and the Brothers Grimm. We’re not kidding. Come celebrate Halloween with us! (Not recommended for children)

Original Student One Acts
If you’re wondering where the next generation of playwrights and screenwriters is coming from, then look no further. This production of original one act plays written, produced and directed by Moorpark College students offers something for everyone. The styles run from comedy to tragedy and there is never a dull moment as our students celebrate their generation, culture, and the trial and tribulations of going to college in this day and age. While the content can be for mature audiences, each play will force the audience to think about the most pressing issues confronting our students today. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to delve into the hearts and minds of our students as we laugh and learn about the theatrical art form.
